The 2012 IMCA annual seminar will take place on 28–29 November at the Okura Hotel, Amsterdam, Netherlands on the theme: Marine and subsea operations: a culture of sustainability.
The seminar will represent the interests of all four of IMCA’s technical divisions – marine, diving, remote systems & ROV and offshore survey.
Keynote presentations will be given by the former Prime Minister of The Netherlands, Jan Peter Balkenende, Andy Woolgar of Subsea 7 and IMCA’s current president, Ronnie Bonnar, Managing Director of Repsol Nuevas Energias, Cato Hordnes, Advisor Subsea and Diving Intervention of Statoil and Ruud Zoon, Managing Director of GDF Suez.
The conference splits on both days into three parallel sessions – Marine, Diving and ROV & Survey. Full details can be found on the programme page or a programme can be downloaded here.
A full range of workshops and networking events are planned for both days, starting with a welcome reception on 27 November at the Okura Hotel. The seminar dinner on 28 November at Fifteen and a drinks and buffet reception at the Renaissance Hotel in the historic city centre under the copper dome of the 17th century Koepelkerk.

This is a new (Divex) Electric Gasmizer Divers Recovery System. Purchased new in 2007 this equipment is still as new and never been used.
The equipment package consists of:
- 1 x Divex Gasmizer Reclaim Compressor (new)
- 1 x Top side control console (new)
- 1 x Bulkhead processing unit (new)
- 1 x Buffer and injection tank (new)
- 1 x Internal bell equipment 2 diver (new)

SMP currently have a self propelled hyperbaric lifeboat (SPHL) in stock. The SPHL comes with all certification and documentation. The vessel was originally classed under DNV although currently certificated by Lloyds Register of Shipping. Reclassification under DNV could be achieved although this would be an additional cost to the current asking price of £400,000 + VAT (Ex.Works).
