SMP at Oceanology 2014.

Wow what a week we had at Oceanology 2014, at London ExCeL Arena where we had a Stand exhibiting our goods and services. Probably the busiest and best show we have exhibited at. We have come away with lots of exciting opportunities and great contacts.

Oceanology International is the biannual global forum where industry, academia and government share knowledge and connect with the marine technology and ocean science community, improving their strategies for measuring, exploiting, protecting and operating in the world’s oceans.

Established in 1969, Oceanology International features the world’s largest exhibition for marine science and technology, several agenda-setting technical conferences, visiting vessels and waterside demonstrations.

The forum was held in London from 11th to 13th March 2014, with the participation of over 525 exhibitors from around the world, covering all aspects of marine and subsea technologies.

As well as the numerous stands and informative talks in the Arena there was also on the Royal Victoria Dock, on the outside of the Exhibition Hall, there was a vessel and waterside demonstration providing opportunities to see the new technologies in action.

The SMP Commercial Manager, Anthony Crowley said “What a fantastic show, great to see so many of the market leaders of the Subsea industry under one roof. It was great to talk to so many of our current customers, partners and suppliers and also to meet up and discuss ideas with some fantastic new opportunities; we are looking forward to working with you in the future”.
