Description
Enhanced Retrieval Efficiency: The Diver Recovery Block and Tackle employs a 6:1 advantage pulley system, enabling effortless retrieval of divers into the diving bell. With an extended length of 6 meters, it offers ample reach from the top of the bell's interior to the stage base, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Safety-Centric Design: Prioritising safety, the system requires attachment to a certified lifting point capable of withstanding at least 900kg. This robust design accommodates the estimated weight of a fully dressed diver (170kg) with a significant safety margin, meeting stringent load testing standards for specialized diver recovery harnesses.
User-Friendly Operation: Equipped with a cam cleat on the top pulley, the system allows for secure locking off of the rope during recovery, facilitating single-handed operation. The adjustable angle of the cleat, controlled by a ratcheted locking pin system, ensures optimal positioning to align with the operator's angle of use within the bell, enhancing ease of use and efficiency. Additionally, the stainless steel carabiner on the bottom pulley enables swift and hassle-free clipping onto the diver's harness lifting/recovery point, further streamlining retrieval operations.
