BarrelEye Camera making underwater videoing cost effective
The camera has a built-in light giving better visibility for the diver and also for the video feed as both camera and light are focused on the same point. The camera has been built to fit onto the commonly used Kirby Morgan dive helmets and can be fitted within minutes with easy installation.
With a built-in pressure sensor, temperature sensor and depth ratings, the camera can relay information back to the app for enhanced monitoring of the diver. The camera is able to stream in ultra-high definition 4k video so you can get that perfect picture quality. The camera is connected with a hybrid fiber optic power cable which is Kevlar armoured. The use of fiber optics allows for high quality video streaming over large distances, better than other solutions on the market.
The Capture app has a range of features to improve the streaming abilities including filters to help clean up the images whilst in murky water, recording, photo and mic features just to name a few. The app has been built with ease-of-use in mind and is very simple to setup and navigate.
We will be showcasing this camera system at the Seawork Exhibition in Southampton, 21st to 23rd June 2022. SMP will be exhibiting on stand G85.
