Diver Communication Kit available for despatch
SMP currently have a diver communication kit ready to be despatched in the workshop. The kit is perfect for a single diver operation but can be enhanced to allow two diver operations.

The kit includes:

SMP Comms and Safety Line - A combined safety rope communications provide a safety line for recovery of the diver and a secondary method of communication with the surface via rope pull signals. The rope filaments are interwoven with four communications wire in such a way that if strain is put on the rope can stretch and the wires still function. The cable reels are available in 50mtr or 100mtr complete with drum.

E-Phone 2 Diver Radio - A two channel portable radio which produces high quality audio, designed for ease of deployment and simplicity in use during diving operations. Up to two divers can communicate with the surface in a simplex configuration while the dive supervisor operates a PTT (Push to Talk) system via the control panel or included dual ear headset.

It’s considered the standard of the commercial diving industry. The Kirby Morgan 37 Diving Helmet comes standard with the Quad-Valve™ exhaust system, which has less breathing resistance than the older single valve exhaust while providing an extremely dry hat. This system is recommended for diving in biologically contaminated water.
