Gas Quads completed as part of Large Eastern Project

Gas Quads completed as part of Large Eastern Project
Gas Quads have been manufactured and tested in the workshop and will be used as part of a large project in East Asia.

The gas quads will be providing breathing gasses, including oxygen, breathing air, and heliox, to the mixed gas dive control panel. They will be accompanied by two 600 l/min, 425 BAR Coltri compressors which will be able to refill the breathing air quads.

The project is expected to be completed later this year. As well as the 20 breathing gasses quads, the package will consist of a wetbell system, containerised mixed gas dive control, a 1.5m decompression chamber, and two electric hot water machines. The wetbell system will utilise active heave compensation (AHC) to maintain a stable position of the wetbell basket subsea increasing diver safety during egress and access. Operation managers will be able to monitor the situation using the containerised Dive Control which will be fitted with a video monitoring system and audio communication technology.
