Hyperbaric Chamber treatment helping with Long Covid Patients
An article posted by the BBC explains how hyperbaric chamber treatment has helped a woman who has suffered from long Covid.

Leanne Lawrence from Aberdeenshire caught coronavirus in January 2021, and she said it left her with chronic fatigue causing her to be bedridden. After just a couple of weeks of having hyperbaric chamber treatment Leanne saw great improvements in her health.

Hyperbaric chamber treatment allows the patients to breathe in pure oxygen, rather than the 21% found in normal air, whilst the pressure increases the amount of oxygen dissolved into the bloodstream and the body’s tissue. For several decades hyperbaric therapy has steadily evolved and is gaining momentum. Acceptance is growing throughout the world, at the moment, the comprehensive information and experience derived from many years of experience and trials have prompted major developments.

Long Covid is where the symptoms last for longer then 12 weeks after contracting the virus.
