Kirby Morgan Training Courses Dates and Information
SMP’s first set of Kirby Morgan Hat Technician courses are coming up. Each course last 3 days (9am – 4pm) with up to 4 attendees, the third training day being an option for certificate renewals. First certificate technicians are required to attend all three days of the course. Technicians will not be certified to work on the equipment covered on day 3 without attending day 3 of training.

These Kirby Morgan training courses are designed to instruct the client on how to perform routine maintenance, inspections and repairs of Kirby Morgan Helmets and Band Masks. The courses are in line with Kirby Morgan documents A2.1 “Annual inspection/overhaul and maintenance checklist” as well as A2.2 “Monthly inspection and maintenance check list”.

Current dates of Kirby Morgan Training Courses are listed below:

February 15th, 16th & 17th – Fully booked.

March 22nd, 23rd & 24th

April 12th, 13th & 14th

May 10th, 11th & 12th

Once the client has successfully completed the course, they will be issued with a certificate detailing the equipment they have been trained on. This certificate will be valid for initially three years and then valid for four years on completion of a refresher course.
