Recertification Complete and Dive Control Ready to Go

This containerised dive control system allows technicians and managers to monitor and observe the air supply and video feed whilst also allowing for communication between the divers and personnel on the surface. The system is able to work with up to 3 divers at one time through the use of an air control panel and multiple video feed monitors. Also installed into the container are gas cylinders, umbilicals and storage facilities. A second room was built into the container to be used as a workshop for technicians.

As the system is used to supply vital gasses to divers, the system must be serviced and recertified regularly to make sure it is still running correctly and safely. We at SMP go the extra mile to make sure the ‘value of life’ is put into everything we manufacture. Having been in the industry over 37 years, we have had clients come to us when procuring a system that works as a lifeline to their personnel.

The containerised system will be sent back to the client in the upcoming weeks. The client operates in the marine operations sector, undergoing projects such as underwater engineering and the salvaging of naval wreckages.
