SMP Engineers in South East Asia
The SMP Engineering team are firmly established for the next few weeks in South East Asia installing and commissioning the SMP 66 Man Submarine Rescue System on a new purpose-built vessel for a Military Client. The Navy vessel has been specifically designed for multi-role Submarine Rescue Operations in co-operation with SMP.
The initial commissioning & installation phase will be ongoing to the end of the year, integrating the Submarine Rescue TUP System, DSRV, Work Class ROVs, Atmospheric Diving Suits and SEVDS. Looking ahead, it’s certainly a busy time for SMP over the next 12 months, this prestigious Contract has certainly raised the profile of the company.
