The clinic which was based at the Science and Technology Centre in Whiteknights campus of Reading University was looking at installing a hyperbaric chamber within their facility.

SMP supplied the clinic with a 2-man hyperbaric oxygen therapy chamber, along with the required equipment to maintain the chamber.

Through the use of the hyperbaric chamber, the clinic specialises in treating wounds and ulcers that would not heal under normal circumstances. The chamber will offer treatment to these conditions by speeding up the body’s healing process by increasing the amount of oxygen in the blood.
