Manufacture of Submarine Emergency Ventilation and Decompression System Complete
It has been another busy week, the manufacture and preliminary testing has been completed on the SMP Submarine Emergency Ventilation and Decompression System (SEVDS) umbilical winch, the winch is complete with a 600 Metre umbilical. This system is capable of ventilation and decompression of a distressed submarine.
We have also completed the final fit-out on a 20 foot DNV offshore container. The client requested that we supply a fully insulated container with electrics; sockets, lights and air conditioning, the client will then install his existing DDC and high pressure compressor.
