Testing of the Submarine Rescue System Complete
Testing of the Submarine Rescue System for our overseas client has now been completed and the system is currently being disassembled prior to shipping.
The system contains 4 decompression chambers housed in modified 30 foot containers, one deck transfer lock, 3 machinery containers and several high pressure gas storage quads for various gas mixes, it is designed to accommodate 66 personnel.
Loading onto transport is scheduled to take place on Monday and Tuesday next week, this will bring to an end the first phase of this project which has been several years in design and almost 12 months build. It is a fantastic project which showcases the technical abilities of Submarine Manufacturing & Products Ltd.
