Two DDC projects currently in the works at SMP
We currently have two DDC projects on the go in the workshop. Both of these chambers are currently being refurbished by the experienced team of SMP engineers.

Our chambers are available as standard in diameters of 1.5m, 1.8m, and 2m. However, other sizes can be accommodated as required. Each chamber’s internal and external pneumatic outfits are finished to the highest standards, featuring stainless steel, brass and Tungum® alloy pipe work.

All of our chambers are design approved and certified by Lloyds Register and manufactured in accordance to HSE guidelines, BSI quality standards, and CE approvals. They are also manufactured and certified to IMCA guidelines for inshore and offshore use.

We have been designing and manufacturing decompression chambers to over 35 years and have built a reputation within the diving industry. Our DDC projects and other systems are currently in use on diving vessels, submarine transport vessels, salvage vessels and oceanographic research vessels.

Our experienced engineers work hard to deliver lasting quality to all our clients. From oil and gas companies to tunnelling firms, armed forces and building contractors, we have delivered workable and reliable solutions to organisations the world over.
