Workshop Container completed and ready to go
The new container that SMP received only a week ago has now been completed and is ready to be shipped next week. The container has been kitted out to be a remote service and repair workshop. With a workbench, tool cabinets and plenty of storage spaces, the container is now the perfect solution to the client’s ‘transportable workshop’ requirements. The container has also been fitted with lighting, power points and an Air Conditioning unit.

The container has been built to allow technicians to fulfil all their repair services from this workshop whilst also allowing for the workshop to be moved to various sites when required. The client is an African-based company that services the energy market, more specifically the natural resources sector. They work with various energy projects and clients across Africa, and this workshop container allows them to offer remote inspection and repair services.

This workshop container adds to the range of different machinery containers and containerised systems that SMP can offer. SMP have been manufacturing machinery containers for over 35 years and have supplied solutions to various markets including commercial diving, military & defence and medical sectors. They have kitted out containers in many different ways including HP and LP gas storage with compressors, diving panels and diver monitoring, workstations and gas generation systems. These systems have been built into a range of container sizes including 10ft, 15ft and 20ft ISO or DNV containers.
