Description

The C-Depth system is designed for electronic monitoring of diver depth in lightweight diving operations, as an alternative to using a pneumatic diving control panel. This system is particularly suited for providing real-time depth information to supervisors during air diving using tethered scuba equipment, which involves a rope or rope/communication line. Additionally, the C-Depth system can function as a bottom profiler. The C-Depth system includes a surface display that shows water depth, a power and signal cable connecting the surface to the operator/diver, and a highly precise pressure transmitter. This setup allows for the simultaneous monitoring of three different depths, which can be displayed in either feet or meters of seawater. Various cable lengths are available, and the compact transducer design enables easy mounting on a diver for depth monitoring or handheld use as a bottom profiling tool.
