The Kirby Morgan 525-400 Welding Shield Assembly is designed to be fully compatible with all Kirby Morgan helmet models as well as the KMB 18 and KMB 28 BandMasks. Each unit includes port retainers that come equipped with two plug screws. These screws serve to protect the threaded holes on the port retainers, preventing debris, corrosion, or damage to the threading. These pre-threaded holes are specifically designed to facilitate a secure and straightforward mounting of the welding shield assembly when needed.
