OTS CDK-6 Surface Accessory Kit

The CDK-6 Surface Conversion Kit by Ocean Technology Systems (OTS) is engineered to transform an SSB-2010 or SSB-1001B (see SKU: OTSASSB) into a highly portable surface station. This kit is ideal for rapid deployment scenarios and situations where space is limited. The CDK-6's compact and efficient design makes it a preferred choice for many Team Leaders operating in small craft environments.

Installation of the CDK-6 is both quick and straightforward, allowing for seamless communication with other divers or surface stations that are within range and tuned to the same channel. This capability ensures effective coordination and communication during diving operations.

The kit includes a deluxe headset with a boom microphone (THB-13) featuring an integrated Push-to-Talk (PTT) control, and a 55-foot (16.75 meter) transducer cable (TC-35S) with connectors. Once installed, the PTT control allows you to manage the dive unit, adjusting settings for VOX/PTT mode, squelch, earphone volume, and channel. The boom microphone is equipped with a noise-canceling 150-ohm mic, ensuring clear communication.
