On Deck Modular

These systems are designed for clients and markets seeking high-end operational capabilities with the flexibility to transfer the system between vessels and rigs for different projects and campaigns. While these systems typically do not include an SPHL (Self-Propelled Hyperbaric Lifeboat), they can be equipped with an HRC (Hyperbaric Rescue Chamber) or HRB (Hyperbaric Rescue Boat) based on regulatory requirements. Additionally, they are usually certified and supplied in compliance with IMCA standards. SMP offers a variety of systems for both inshore and offshore work, with depth ratings ranging from 50m to 300m.

In Built Modular

These systems are specifically designed for vessel conversion projects where customers seek the enhanced weather protection and operational advantages of a fully integrated, below-deck system, but in a modular format. Typically, we repurpose existing systems to meet the needs of clients aiming to quickly introduce long-term capabilities to the market. With their modular design, these systems are efficient, easy to integrate, and provide a seamless solution for vessel upgrades.

Fully Integrated

These systems are typically newly built as part of new vessel construction projects, designed with weight and space optimisation in mind and usually classed for certification. Available in twin or single bell configurations, they offer the ideal long-term solution for clients dedicated to providing sustained saturation diving capabilities.

Transfer Under Pressure (TUP)

The TUP Diving System is a Closed Bell Diving System, developed by SMP and certified by IMCA and Lloyd's Register of Shipping. It supports both air and mixed gas diving, with a clump weight that includes a diver tool basket. An optional hyperbaric floataway chamber can be added.

This compact, modular system features a 3-man, 4.7m³ saturation diving bell, control panels for air and mixed gas, a twin-lock decompression chamber, and optional single-lock chamber. It is equipped with HP/LP compressors and a gantry launch/recovery system.

Designed for mobility, it can be deployed on support vessels, platforms, or rigs for moon pool or over-the-side operations. By using Trimix or Nitrox, divers can extend bottom times at greater depths, while the closed bell system enhances safety by transferring divers without exposing them to atmospheric pressure, preventing nitrogen intoxication.

Saturation Diving Systems

Saturation diving is a specific technique that allows divers to reduce the risk of decompression sickness. This is especially relevant for divers spending extended periods of time working at significant depths. Our systems deliver a helium-oxygen mixture to prevent nitrogen narcosis.
